Self-lubricating friction plates..
For your specific applications, we can also supply impregnated friction plates with thicknesses ranging from 4 mm to 20 mm.
They can then be machined to the desired shape.
These plates consist of a sintered porous bronze metal substrate obtained using powder metallurgy. They can be impregnated with special oils and coated with a solid film of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) for continuous operation in hydrodynamic or oily conditions.
